Curious about Marleen Sleeuwits’ new exhibition Enter the Cube? On the 16th of February, you will have the chance to take a guided tour with Marleen herself through the colorful spaces of Enter the Cube. During the tour, Marleen will discuss her working methods, inspiration, and the creation of the exhibition. The tour ends at her life-size cube designs alongside the Hofvijver, which are part of the Spiegelfestival.

The Hague-based artist Marleen Sleeuwits plays with our perception. How do we perceive space? What do we actually see, and what does our brain fill in? In the new exhibition Enter the Cube, Sleeuwits enters into a dialogue with the work of famous American artist Sol LeWitt. Both artists explore the boundaries of perspective and the perception of space. Inspired by several of LeWitt’s works, in which he endlessly varies the shape of a cube, Sleeuwits creates a colorful, site-specific spatial installation. Visitors are invited to step into the cube and wander into a space that seems infinite.
